How to Apply for London Business School Electives

The deadline for Autumn Term applications is: Friday 11th September 2009

Funding Note: Fees of £800 are charged for attending Electives at London Business School in
2009/10. Applicants must ensure that funding has been agreed with their Department BEFORE applying (Supervisor, Doctoral Training Centre, Programme Manager or Departmental Graduate Tutor/Head of Department as appropriate).

Please note that having funding doesn't guarantee you a place - it will still be subject to places being available on your chosen course.

To be successful applicants should supply (where possible);

Application Form (please download and complete)
Diversity Monitoring Form (please download and complete only if you haven't submitted one to me previously)
A brief CV
A one page description of your research programme detailing objectives, significance and achievements and a brief appraisal of intellectual property, together with a brief evaluation of the commercial potential of your research.
A brief description of your commercial experience or training to date
A brief summary (two to three paragraphs) of your objectives in taking an elective at London Business School and what you would like to achieve. Please make this specific to the elective you are applying for!

A NOTE TO PREVIOUS APPLICANTS:
- If you have previously completed or applied for an elective at London Business School, please just send me the Application Form and a summary of your objectives. Plus, if you have updated your CV since you last submitted your application, please forward this to me as well.

Please note that some electives require the Finance and Value Creation Workshop as a pre requisite.

Places offered are dependent on availability and the outcomes of an interview with the CSEL Operations Manager, Jacquie Mather.

Applications are to be sent to Laura Connor
